People, are you happy today?
a few nights ago... actually.. was it yesterday? .. i had satay..

i shall not talk about the taste yet... but the place i bought it from was pretty unusual ...from a bicycle at the void deck of a block of flats (you mean its common?)i thought such things only happen in malaysia ?.. initally i thought the guy was on his way to a party or gathering (despite it being 9 pm ) with his food or on his way back.. either way i didn't pay much attention to him.. cos i have a surprising high tolerance level for strange happenings (what a nice phrase when you put it this way).. i guess most singaporeans are.. i guess this is what people called apathy ...
i ramble on and on..
so... some bad pictures i took ... it being at night

i surprised the person badly with my flash... i shock me too.. i was trying to take it discreetly.. but luckily he didn't make a big fuss..i tried to smile very sweetly.. ahh.. how many times do julia smile sweetly? ever seen it before? AHAHAHA.. thats why its only reserved for dire situations that concerns life and....

anyway..
upclose....
we bought 10 sticks of chicken and of mutton... to share among three of us... meaning me and parents ...
the verdict?
bad... the chicken tasted a bit sour... the beef was okay... not worth a second try not even for the experience..
(bet you hope it was a good ending and how i will go like looks is not everything and sometimes life's pleasures/good food can come from humble/simple means... yada nada..) its an irony people... why do you think life is somewhat interesting that way? but then in malaysia i have tasted really good satay from motorbikes before..so probably he got to upgrade his vehicle or something... YAHAHAHA!..
but its rather novel no? according to my mum .. the business is not as bad as i thought (how come? with such quality? your meat my poison i guess?)
okay.. moving right along...
let me present to you my garden... part of it

isn't it so adorable... this is the work of the crazies in my family.. namely my mum (you know aunties with too much free time on their hands ? those kind?)... the teddy bear came from my dad's car.. he used to hang it at the rearview mirror..
ta dah.. he is now neighbour to three fat straw birds..
actually there is also a fake nest somewhere but it wasn't caught on camera ..

AGAin!.. sigh... the way it is hung and the expression is so funny... i just burst out laughing when i saw it.. sigh..
why can't such things happen more often?
okay... to end off.. as i am teaching idioms to one of my students.. i can't seem to get this one out of my head..
"Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones."
look at it anyway you want... cos i think it applies to everybody... except me... YAHAHAHA! RIGHTTTT!
