Graduation ceremony
How do you know if your parents need help from gambling anonymous
Mum: Wah! Your friend got silver award ah.. it is second place right?
Me: Hmm.. you can put it that way. ya she did very well...
Dad: Wah! silver ah.. not bad ah.. you leh?
Me: ahem.. erm.. eh. what's for dinner ah..
Mum: Your daughter got "outsider" la... people second prize.. your daughter cannot make it la.
at least the whole saga is over... i forgot to buy seats for them (what stupid logic is that... why would anyone want to go without guests?.. in the first place why do i have to pay for my own attendance?)
*grumble grumble
but well ... i got to admit, the phototaking with friends and family part is fun... but everything else is not.. i fell asleep during the briefing waiting for the ceremony to start.... and i realise i look fat in the photos i took,.. hrumph!

how come must pay for seats one! that's pretty messed up.
what does your mom mean by 'outsider' anyway.
outsider means the dark horse. in horse racing it is usually the one with the highest odds cos it cannot win.
