One day during tuition
Ever wonder what transpires between my tutee and me? ever wonder how to motivate a young student?
M (the tutee): Hey! My friend has a tuition teacher who is 19 or 20? That is young right? How old are you? (he knows my age but he loves to rub it in cos he knows i am sensitive about my age. that sneaky fella).. you are OLDDDER right?
ME: not that OLDDD... just a few years.
M: when did you start teaching tuition anyway?
ME: Around that age too. ya. to think of it, i wasted my youth on students like you.
M: oh... HEYYYY! ...anyway... You are OLLLDDDEERR than her.. MUCH OLLLDDEERR...
ME: whatever. not telling you the answer to the next question.

moving on. there is a cockroach in my room and my mum LIED to me that she caught it the other day. the harsh reality of life people! parents lying to their child. no one is to be trusted, especially not your mum.
technically it is a dead cockroach now. cos i just found out about my mum LIES when i opened my wardrobe and found it hanging happily on the door. i called my mum's bluff right there and then, (actually more like i shouted her bluff) and she, maybe due to guilt, sprayed a lot of insecticide to its face.
but don't know why, even with 2 pairs of eyes, (not mine cos i was standing far away in case it landed on me) they don't know where the cockroach landed when it fell from the wardrobe. Amazing! why? i bet if it was a fifty dollar bill, they will be able to tell me the coordinates even!
but no! so now the cockroach is still in my room, pretending to be houdini.
and me? i will only be relieved when i see its dead body.
it is indeed lonely in this world. i feel insulted that my mum lied to me like a three year old and i believed her.
