how happy is a 10 cent coin in singapore?

i find it amazing but apparently you can still buy something for 10 cents in singapore in times like today..
one packets costs only 10 cents and it comes in two flavours.. its milk flavoured milk tablets (duh~!) and chocolate flavoured milk tablets..

i thought the red packaging meant strawberry .. and that the chocolate tablets will be really black.. hmmm..
i threw away the tablets.. they make me really thirsty.. i assume its them .. but it may just be the reunion dinner i just had tonight..
the food wasn't great.. neither was much of the company.. but its a necessity.. some form of tradition.. everything seemed the same but nothing is..
i was supposedly the QC of the food.. but i bet my aunty thinks my standards are damn low. what can you do when they asked you for your opinion
"how was it?"
"oh its alright.. not too bad, but needs more salt "
"really huh? i thought it was ok.. you sure? never mind la.. i'm too tired to stir again"
"why don't next time you come and cook for us and see"
and refused to take it.. whats the point? so after 5 minutes, i just said what they wanted to hear and make a mental note what not to take during dinner later..
i really think the feelings and emotions of the cook are important in influencing the taste of the food..
my mum used to make such delicious cookies.. now she couldn't even bother with the usual dishes..
"no mood"
she says.. i guess no one is really in the mood anymore..

my favourite dish of the night.. ironically? its also the only one that requires no cooking.. ha ha.
