yesterday was celebrate-people's-birthday day...

shurong's (left) birthday is on the 15th whereas qiwen's birthday is on the 13th...very belated but as both of them were having exams during this trying period of time.. LOL.. sounds so depressing! .... re-read what i say about globes again!

actually had a surprise planned out for them .. we went in early so that i could order birthday cakes for them.. so when we finished everything, the waitress will bring out the cakes and we sing the birthday songs.. and everything will fall into place... people will be touched and everyone will feel the happiness of birthdays ... and what is birthdays without cakes... its like weddings without rings.. or exams without testpapers... different situations but same importance...

but we all know that the world will not move without spoilers... in the end.. the waitress came over and asked,"so you want us to serve the mudpies now with the candles?"

sigh... how obvious can one be?

geez... i have a fetish with eating desserts with candles... must have illuminations in my sweets else i cannot chew..

but how to stay angry? the waitress was so sweet... and she apologized so profusely... and their staff sang songs for them! hahaha... in the end.. it was so embarrassingly cute.. hahahah!

bet you never see mudpies with candles.. =) something different.. too much cake is boring...

and of course i got to have my dessert!

BLUEBERRY PANCAKES! hahaha! i finally remembered what was different about the one i ate before and the one in this pic... it used to be chocolate syrup... not jam all over it.. i much prefer to be just maple syrup and vanilla (no other) ice cream... mmmm...

after we left... we decided to go to esplanade... for what? i don't know.. but it is spontaneous day... my motto for the near future is to be spontaneous... oh yeah!!

and as usual.. as we were moving off ... i moved off in the wrong direction making all of them confused where esplanade really was...ahahaha...

went to the roof terrance... minus the couples... it is such a nice place!... to stone... ;) ... check out the view... if you think this was from a post card... then you got to see the real thing...
it was my first time up there... all the other times i was there, it was either raining or hazy... siyun...RAH!! i am troubled... i want to drink... HAHAHA.. no not really but such a fantasic place to drink at..

took this on a different day while i am out with siyun and diwei at marina square.. lol... siyun.. i think we can't hide any longer ... everyone is spectulating! we got to tell the truth... we are actually *gasp!* together! ... and there is actually no person called diwei... we just wanted to go out and spend time with each other... HAHAHAHA! ... bleah...

i am so nonsense i can't stand myself..

this was the decorations at MS.. from the second level.. they look like fishballs on strings that wobbles... but from the ground looking up... it forms groups of stars... like this that you see..but i think it looks like some mothership from foreign planets...

ok... got to think of a place for dinner... sigh... thinking of places to eat for my mum is not very exciting..

"so where are we going to eat tonight girl? somewhere nice right?"
"so we go eat at crystal jade?"
"ok.. but then your father eat and still not full how?"
"ok.. we go jack's place"
"ok.. i am ok one..but the dinner set there quite expensive hoh?"
"then what you wan?"
"you know there is this zi char stall at ave 4 ... your dad likes to eat zi char.."
"so you already want to eat zi char la?"
"no la .. (obviously she does).. just that when you go elsewhere and eat .. it will be more ex mah.. go zi char its cheaper.. and *rambles on"
"ok loh...go there loh"
"aiya i know you want to go somewhere aircon right?"
"no.. i don't mind ... i eat at hawker centres too... i like alexandra and bukit timah and queenstown ones... but you are the one who say want to go somewhere nice to eat mah... zi char stall ... ok loh... nice then ok loh"
"aiya, forget it ... i cook porridge at night la... don't want to have a headache over this.."

i don't know how my mum functions but i think she is trying to pay me back for all the times i cry in the middle of the night when i was a baby...

and i think most likely we will be having zi char tonight... (=_=)
