talk about irony...

i am horribly hooked on this .... (currently on the fourth episode)






don't understand what they are saying some of the time ... can't really distinguish each one of them when they are in battle...

looked at stumps of legs... explosions ... blood.. a fair amount of it... people dying in the middle of speeches.. "aim at the seco..*pop*" *soldier slumps to the floor...

the battles were messy.... gunshots keep ricocheting through..

i can't seem to tear myself away from it..

the first episode was funny as they were still in training.. but it grew more serious as they start engaging in real battles ... fear... insecurities ...

no matter how much tough training one can get, nothing will really prepare you for the real war, the first death and the first shot.

i watched the first episode thinking "this is going to be boring.. about war.. my gosh! but i have been hearing good reviews about it... one epi... if its sleep inducing i'll go to 24. "

and that was a few hours ago...

actually i thought this was pretty mild... not as bloody or gory as i thought..ahahahah! but then its a drama series they have to make it suitable for television after all..

watched a little of 24 as well.. not bad... oh its about war too.. but of a different kind...the kind we face now... war against terrorism.

can't talk/type anymore... got to continue watching... lol...i am typing in blocks of phrases already... i think i am turning male after all..

and no its not because i like violence ....
